20070905 - JW's Convo

Today......would be an unforgetable day for JW.
It marks the new chapter of life, steping into working life.

Convocation was in UM.
Only S.Yen and I attended as it was a weekday, so others couldnt make it.
As usual, he's still everyone's attention, with all the juniors cheering for him.....
Some of them even made him a photo frame, with him on the cover of TIME magazine.
Which I believe he will, some day.....with his talent.

Something "lak say" (embarrassing) happened that day leh.
Previously he told me n S.Yen that his convo is 2.00pm.
Then both S.Yen and I oso blur, we thought that he was coming out at 2.00pm, so we waited there since 1.45pm.
But actually it started at 2.00pm, haha......
So we back home n rest first, since S.Yen oso stomachache.

20071111 - Special Cake

Special cake arh??
Some people may ask "How special can it be orh?"
Yeap I admit it looks normal anyway, haha..... :p

But of coz there are two reasons lar....
1. My fren specially made this cake for the darling's birthday lor.
2. See the jelly-like thingy on top?? It's "BIRD's NEST"!!!

I did try to ask my fren the cost but didnt want to reveal.
If I'm not mistaken, that much of bird's nest costs at least RM100.
According to fren, bird's nest cake is gaining popularity in Hong Kong.
We'll see..... Whether will become a hit in Malaysia or not, hehe.....

20071109 - China Red Kiwi

Yih.....China red kiwi???
What the hack is that??
Hmm..... I oso no idea what it is.
Saw in a supermarket and thought it should be something interesting, so bought four n try try loh.

After cutting, the center part of the kiwi is really red colour orh.....
Looks like a strawberry hiding inside the golden kiwi, haha......

Taste-wised, i think i prefer golden kiwi.
For this red kiwi, it's just way toooo sweet.
Imagine kiwi without the sour taste and extreme sweet.
Price..... not expensive, only 39 cents each.

20071011 - Chocolate Week

Wow.....this must be my chocolate week.
Within a week's time, I've tried so many special chocolate, gift from colleagues and friend.


First and foremost is the Royce Potatochip Chocolate bought from Singapore.
Hmm....quite special, never thought of matching potatochips with chocolate, haha.....
Potatochip is lightly salted, thick enough (bit thicker than Pringles, yet still chrispy), and coated with Royce chocolate on one side.
Royce chocolate?? Erm....quite smooth, very rich, not too sweet.
Best stored at room temperature, then it melts inside your mouth easily.
Oh ya....Royce chocolate is a product from Japan.

Yea yea.....the name tells you what it is liao lor.....
It's actually cooked apple coated with chocolate, with a touch of brandy.
Recommended.....

Some chocolates sold there are actually exported under different name to Japan, so cant find in local market.

20070924 - Lanterns

Mooncake Festival of 2007.
Bought some lantern and hang in living room, then took photos of them.
Many of the photos are not satisfactory as wind were quite strong that night.

Hmm.....whenever i'm taking indoor photos, a feeling arise that i'm not getting enough from my current Nikon 4100 anymore, haha.......
Photos are nice only when there's sufficient light source/sunlight. No tripod for indoor/party mode?? Sorry lah dude :p
Wat about getting a new digital camera???
Erh......So far not in my plan loh. Wanna save money for some other purposes.
